Vulf examines the carpet: and suspect three rooms are wending ways

He tries to roll the carpet up and stuff it into Jestix's bag of holding. We move through to the island via the gateway and start the 6hr trek round to the village to find the tatoo artist & mage. As we pass the river we spot a huge lizard with glowing spines down its' back. Jestix seems keen to engage, Fria goes invisible. It charges and we engage. Bjarni and it roar at each other. Jestix rushes in to twonk i, Vulf joins him inspiring greatness. They twonk strongly and it looks un-perturbed. Fria tries a baleful polymorph but it ut of range. It breaths fire (reflex 34!!) ouch, it picks up Bjarni (grapple 54) and swallows him whole. He fights his way out. the others bash away relatively ineffectually, but they are grinding it down. Bjarni enjoys beign stuck in its gullet racking and clawing it. Vulf & Jestix stand and fights it from the outside. The magic users blast ineffectually. Finally Vulf does 117 pts and decapitates it. Fria extracts the 2'5“ teeth & its fire sack. We press on towards skull cove; it appears that there is still a community here … We met the wizard and tatoo artist. He can do up to 3rd level spells, some tatoos are single use others last a day and only 3 at one time.
